Trenton Project, Valmy Deposit, Humboldt County, NV

The Valmy deposit is a portion of the Newmont Gold Trenton Project, adjacent to the Marigold Mine. The 1,920 acre property produced gold in 2003, with further production expected in 2004. This deposit is split on the property line with Newmont Gold, and is a run of mine heap leach process. The mineralization is structurally controlled disseminated gold in siliceous Ordovician Valmy Formation.
