National District, Humboldt County, NV

The National District is a classic low sulfidation gold and silverdistrict,first described by Lindgren in USGS Bulletin 601. The districtproduced over 200,000 ounces of gold, as well as silver, from a very smalltonnage of ore. Century Gold controls over 4,000 acres of patentedand unpatented mining claims in this area, and is actively pursuing explorationfor the summer of 2004. The veins and associated dikes offer an exposed strike length of over three miles of prospective targets.
