Marigold Mine, Humboldt County, NV

The Marigold Mine property, consisting of 3,200 acres, is leased to Glamis Marigold Mining Company, which is the operator.  The Marigold production in 2003 was 94,796 ounces, entirely from run of mine heap leach process.  The property has some exciting potential for further expansion, and reserves and resources are increasing.  The mineralization is disseminated and structurally-controlled in the Ordovician Valmy Formation, and the overlying Antler Sequence.  The Millennium Expansion Project received a final Record of Decision approval in February 2004, and new construction is to start immediately.  More details on the operation may be seen at www.Glamis.com.
