The historic Jarbidge District is one of the more productive low sulfidation gold districts in northern Nevada. Over 400,000 ounces of gold was produced in this area prior to 1942. The district is in Tertiary volcanic, and the mineral is vein controlled. Approximately 160 acres of patented property is controlled in this area, adjacent to a recent acquisition by Atna Gold.
