Iowa Canyon, Lander County, NV

The Iowa Canyon property is an attractive prospect. Numerous epithermal veins are exposed on the property. The veins vary in width from less than an inch to 15 feet wide, and have strike lengths of over 1000 feet exposed on the surface. Low but anomalous gold and trace element geochemistry, and vein textures are typical of the upper levels of epithermal bonanza gold veins.The property consists of 21 unpatented mining claims located along the margin of a small caldera complex. The property has never been drilled, but is the likely source of placer gold found below the property.
